Hand-to-hand Combat

Our professor told us that he rarely gives out 100/100 on this test...but that we would have gotten one, if not for one little thing: my partner accidentally elbowed me in the chin at one point, which made my mouth/teeth/lips into a bloody mess by the end. So he had to take off two points, since "those are the rules." At least it was realistic though, right??

PS Don't worry - - you can't see any blood on the video. And I'm perfectly fine now, promise. Just love being a Theatre Ed major and taking fun classes like Stage Combat...I know you're jealous. (;

PSS - The fun thing about stage combat (and learning how to do it correctly) is that no one gets hurt...even if we do make contact on some of the punches/kicks/etc. That's what makes it so fun to watch - it may look realistic, but no one ever actually gets hurt (at least not intentionally!). Also, the commentary you hear is from my professor and TA... enjoy!

Biggest Loser

So... The Biggest Loser is on Netflix & I am just now becoming obsessed with it, haha (It took a while, but I got there, Ruth :) Anywayyyyy, I love Bob. And after this...

I became wildly attracted to him. I don't know why it took him crazy-face screaming at this woman for me to realize how hot he is, but I WANT HIM. My favorite part about watching it (besides Bob...& Jillian for that matter) is it makes me work out with them :) I've lost 5 LBS in 3 weeks & I'm looking for 15 more. If THEY can do, this should be cake for me!

grammy highlights?

apparently adele won a zillion grammy's and jennifer hudson sung in honor of whitney houston. don't get me wrong, both were great. i saw adele in concert in park city during my byu days (BEFORE she got crazy famous, alright, people?) and i am just as big of a whitney fan as everyone else has suddenly become in the past 24 hours (no disrespect intended -- i really do like her music). but i still have to say the highlight of my evening was my superstar boyfriend singing beach boys songs. LOVE HIM.

i know it's not quite my day but i felt like i needed to share this.

lots of commercials were on last night for the super bowl but this one (which aired earlier last week and probably not during the SB) is still one of my favorites.
